The Bureau of Banks, Trust Companies and Savings Institutions is comprised of the Office of the Assistant Director and four operating sections.
The office of the Assistant Director is comprised of the Corporate Activity Section, the Compliance Reporting Section, a Training Coordinator, and a Pawnbroker Regulation Administrator.
The operating sections of the Bureau of Banks, Trust Companies and Savings Institutions include the
Bank and Thrift Supervision Section - Chicago, the Bank and Thrift Supervision Section - Springfield, the Information Technology Section and the Fiduciary Activities Section.
The Assistant Director is responsible for all activities of the Bureau. Section Managers are responsible for their respective section in the Office of the Assistant Director and a Section Manager has been appointed to oversee and direct the operations of each section.
The Bureau maintains offices at 122 South Michigan Avenue, Suite 1900 in Chicago, and 320 West Washington Street, 5th Floor in Springfield.
