- North Avenue - Ashland Currency Exchange, Inc.
1604 W. North Ave., Chicago
- Belmont - Clark Currency Exchange, Inc.
824 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago
- Lincoln, Belmont & Ashland Currency Exchange, Inc.
3170 N. Lincoln Ave., Chicago
These three locations have been closed since late April 2008. All the money orders submitted for payment through June 20, 2008 have been paid. However, effective June 21, 2008, money orders drawn on North Avenue - Ashland Currency Exchange, Inc.; Belmont - Clark Currency Exchange, Inc.; and Lincoln, Belmont & Ashland Currency Exchange, Inc. will be returned to the purchaser. If you purchased a money order from one of these locations that is returned to you “Refer to Maker” or if you paid a utility bill at one of these locations that was never credited, please call the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Division of Financial Institutions, Currency Exchange Section immediately at 312-814-5153 for assistance.
