As of March 1, 2005, Illinois consumers can get free copies of their credit reports from each of the three national credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, and Trans Union) once every 12 months.

To order your credit reports, contact the following (please do not contact the credit bureaus directly):

• Call toll free: 877-322-8228

• Complete an Annual Credit Report Request form and mail to:
