CLAIMS FILING DEADLINE EXTENDED FOR FILING
HOLOCAUST ERA INSURANCE CLAIMS

The International Commission on Holocaust Era Insurance Claims (ICHEIC) has extended the claims filing deadline from February 15, 2002, to September 30, 2002.

The deadline is being extended to allow ICHEIC adequate time to collect additional lists of names from insurance companies and researchers, process the lists, and publish the names of potential claimants on its web site with adequate time for the public to review the lists.

Holocaust survivors and heirs who believe they may be entitled to benefits from a Holocaust-era insurance policy can obtain claim forms and information on the claims process by calling ICHEIC toll-free at (800) 957-3203 or from their website at www.icheic.org. Potential claimants are urged to periodically check the lists of names posted on the website.
