Insurance License Revoked

SPRINGFIELD, IL. -- Illinois Director of Insurance J. Anthony Clark has revoked the insurance producer license of Robert E. Schenelle of Danville, Illinois, effective December 16, 2003. Mr. Schenelle had been licensed since 1973.

Mr. Schenelle was licensed to sell life, accident and health, variable life and fire and casualty insurance. The license of Mr. Schenelle was revoked by Director's Order from Hearing #4043. The hearing was held regarding the Department's Order of Revocation dated February 27, 2003. The Order of Revocation was issued as a result of an examination revealing the misappropriation of fiduciary monies, the improper withholding of an insured's premium, the cashing of an insured's check without authorization and PFTA record keeping violations.

Under the Illinois Administrative Review Law he may have the right to appeal and request a stay of the Order. Copies of the Director's Orders are attached.
