Insurance License Revoked

SPRINGFIELD, IL. -- Illinois Director of Insurance J. Anthony Clark has revoked the insurance producer license of Gigliola Gonzales of Chicago effective January 29, 2004. Ms. Gonzales had been licensed since February 24, 1998.

Ms. Gonzales was licensed to sell fire and casualty and life, accident and health insurance. The license of Ms. Gonzales was revoked by Director's Order from Hearing #4102. The hearing was held regarding the Department's Order of Revocation dated September 3, 2003. The Order of Revocation was issued as a result of an examination revealing the misappropriation and improper withholding of $14,731.19 in fiduciary monies, and multiple Premium Fund Trust Account (PFTA) record keeping violations.

Under the Illinois Administrative Review Law she may have the right to appeal and request a stay of the Order. A copy of the Director's Order is attached.
