Insurance License Revoked

SPRINGFIELD, IL. -- Illinois Department of Insurance has revoked the insurance producer license of Timothy J. Dowd of Waukegan, Illinois effective March 09, 2004. Mr. Dowd had been licensed since September 19, 2001.

Mr. Dowd was licensed to sell life, accident, and health. The licenses were revoked as a result of an investigation, which revealed that the Licensee is more than thirty (30) days delinquent in complying with his child support order in the amount of $5,068.52, failed to reveal the child support delinquency on his renewal application and failed to notify the Department of his change of address within thirty (30) days of the change.

Under the Illinois Administrative Review Law he may have the right to appeal and request a stay of the Order. A copy of the Director's Order is attached.
