Insurance License Revoked

SPRINGFIELD, IL. -- Illinois Acting Director of Insurance Deirdre K. Manna has revoked the insurance producer license of Randy J. Veselik of Naperville effective May 21, 2004. Mr. Veselik had been licensed since June 2, 1992.

Mr. Veselik was licensed to sell life, accident and health, fire and casualty, and variable insurance. The license of Mr. Veselik was revoked as a result of an Order of Revocation dated November 6, 2003. The Order of Revocation was based on an investigation revealing the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) issued an Order Accepting Offer of Settlement in Disciplinary Proceeding. The order stated Mr. Veselik was barred from association with any member of the NASD in any capacity and was ordered to pay restitution to an Illinois consumer in the amount of $1,395,000.00 plus interest.

Under the Illinois Administrative Review Law he may have the right to appeal and request a stay of the Order. A copy of the Director's Order is attached.
