Insurance License Revoked

SPRINGFIELD, IL. -- Illinois Acting Director of Insurance Deirdre K. Manna has revoked the insurance producer license of David B. Held of Mattoon effective June 24, 2004. Mr. Held had been licensed since February 25, 1993.

Mr. Held was licensed to sell life, accident and health insurance. Mr. Held's license was revoked by Director's Order from Hearing #4115. The hearing was held regarding the Department's Order of Revocation dated September 29, 2003. The Order of Revocation was based on the failure of Mr. Held to comply with a previously issued Stipulation and Consent Order.

Under the Illinois Administrative Review Law he may have the right to appeal and request a stay of the Order. A copy of the Director's Order is attached.
