Insurance License Revoked

SPRINGFIELD, IL. -- Acting Illinois Director of Insurance Deirdre K. Manna has suspended the insurance producer license of Lawrence T. Hobson of Chicago, Illinois effective December 1, 2004. Mr. Hobson had been licensed since December 19, 1994.

Mr. Hobson was licensed to sell life, accident, health, and variable insurance. The licenses were suspended as a result of an investigation, which revealed that the Licensee has an unpaid tax liability in the amount of $2,332.92 due the Illinois Department of Revenue.

Under the Illinois Administrative Review Law he may have the right to appeal and request a stay of the Order. A copy of the Director's Order is attached.
