Insurance License Revoked

SPRINGFIELD, IL. -- Illinois Acting Director of Insurance Deirdre K. Manna has revoked the insurance producer license of James W. Jonen of Hoffman Estates, Illinois effective November 26, 2004. Mr. Jonen had been licensed since 1979.

Mr. Jonen was licensed to sell life, accident, health, fire, casualty, and variable insurance. The licenses were revoked as a result of an investigation, which revealed that the Licensee was barred, by the NASD, from association with any of its members based on allegations of negotiating checks totaling $20,559.99 which were not made payable to him.

Under the Illinois Administrative Review Law he may have the right to appeal and request a stay of the Order. A copy of the Director's Order is attached.
