Insurance License Revoked

SPRINGFIELD, IL. -- Illinois Acting Director of Insurance Deirdre K. Manna has revoked the insurance producer license of Jeffrey D. Lamm of Northbrook, Illinois effective January 3, 2005. Mr. Lamm had been licensed since 1983.

Mr. Lamm was licensed to sell life, accident, health, fire, casualty and variable insurance. The license of Mr. Lamm was revoked by Director's Order from Hearing #04-HR-0083. The hearing was held regarding the Department's Order of Revocation dated December 22, 2003. The Order of Revocation was issued as a result of an investigation revealing Mr. Lamm had improperly withheld insurance premiums, and violated Premium Fund Trust Account bookkeeping regulations and in doing so violated Stipulation and Consent Orders previously entered into with the Division. Mr. Lamm also failed to provide and maintain all insurance related books and records.

Under the Illinois Administrative Review Law he may have the right to appeal and request a stay of the Order. A copy of the Director's Order is attached.
