Insurance License Revoked

SPRINGFIELD, IL. -- Illinois Acting Director of Insurance Deirdre K. Manna has revoked the insurance producer license of John Joseph Cox of Omaha, Nebraska effective January 7, 2005. Mr. Cox had been licensed since February 5, 2003.

Mr. Cox was licensed to sell life, accident, health, and variable insurance. The licenses were revoked as a result of an investigation, which revealed that the Licensee improperly withheld $3000.00 in insurance premiums; failed to facilitate and the Director in the examination; and failed to notify the Director of a change in address within 30 days.

Under the Illinois Administrative Review Law he may have the right to appeal and request a stay of the Order. A copy of the Director's Order is attached.
