Insurance License Revoked

SPRINGFIELD, IL. -- Illinois Acting Director of Insurance Deirdre K. Manna has revoked the insurance producer license of David D. Post of Chicago, Illinois effective February 10, 2005. Mr. Post had been licensed since April 29, 2003.

Mr. Post was licensed as a Public Adjuster. The license of Mr. Post was revoked by Director's Order from Hearing #04-HR-0923. The hearing was held regarding the Department's Order of Revocation dated August 31, 2004. The Order of Revocation was issued as a result of an investigation revealing Mr. Post had made a material misstatement on two applications for a Public Adjuster's license thereby obtaining a license through misrepresentation and was convicted of an insurance related misdemeanor.

Under the Illinois Administrative Review Law he may have the right to appeal and request a stay of the Order. A copy of the Director's Order is attached.
