Insurance License Application Denied

SPRINGFIELD, IL. - On February 5, 2005 then Illinois Acting Director of Insurance Deirdre K. Manna denied the insurance producer license application of James M. Hardesty of Washington, Illinois.

Mr. Hardesty was applying for a license to sell life, accident, health, property and casualty insurance. His license application was denied as a result of an investigation, which revealed that the Applicant was convicted of felony, Mail Fraud in February of 2000. The felony was insurance related.

Under the Illinois Administrative Review Law he may have the right to appeal and request a stay of the Order. A copy of the Director's Order is attached.
