Insurance License Denied

SPRINGFIELD, IL. - On March 17, 2005 then Illinois Acting Director of Insurance Deirdre K. Manna denied the insurance producer license application of Kevin M. Price of Orland Park. Mr. Price had previously been licensed by the Department from 1988 to 1999 and was licensed to sell fire and casualty insurance.

Mr. Price's license was denied by Director's Order from hearing #04-HR-0869. The denial was based on an investigation that revealed he was acting as an insurance producer without a valid license and that he violated a previously issued Director's Order.

Under the Illinois Administrative Review Law, Mr. Price may have the right to appeal and request a stay of the Order. A copy of the Director's Order is attached.
