Insurance License Application Denied

SPRINGFIELD, IL. - On March 7, 2005 then Illinois Acting Director of Insurance Deirdre K. Manna denied the insurance producer license application of Linda Mattison of Chicago, Illinois effective April 6, 2005.

Ms. Mattison was applying for a license to sell limited lines insurance. Her license application was denied as a result of an investigation, which revealed that the Applicant was convicted of two felony counts, False Statement on a Tax Return and Failure to File Income Tax Return in April of 1999. Additionally, she failed to reveal the felony convictions on her 2004 application for a Limited Lines Producer license.

Under the Illinois Administrative Review Law she may have the right to appeal and request a stay of the Order. A copy of the Director's Order is attached.
