SPRINGFIELD, IL. -- Illinois Director of Insurance Michael T. McRaith has denied the insurance producer license application of Robert W. Hanks of Shobonier, Illinois effective June 24, 2005.

Mr. Hanks was applying for a license to sell life, accident and health insurance. His license was denied as a result of an investigation, which revealed that the Applicant was convicted of felony Aggravated Arson in 1987 and was subsequently convicted of felony Burglary in 1988.

Under the Illinois Administrative Review Law he may have the right to appeal and request a stay of the Order. A copy of the Director’s Order is attached.
