SPRINGFIELD, IL. – Illinois Director of Insurance Michael T. McRaith has revoked the insurance producer license of George T. Priovolos of Bloomington effective September 26, 2005. Mr. Priovolos’ license was revoked as a result of an investigation that revealed he had been convicted of a felony (Aggravated Driving Under the Influence) in 1998 and failed to report the felony conviction on his 2000 and 2004 renewal applications thereby obtaining a license through misrepresentation and fraud.

Under the Illinois Administrative Review Law he may have the right to appeal and request a stay of the Order. A copy of the Director’s Order is attached.
