INTERSTATE INSURANCE RECEIVERSHIP COMMISSION TO MEET IN DETROIT

CHICAGO, IL -- Illinois Insurance Director Mark Boozell announced today that the Interstate Insurance Receivership Commission will hold its next meeting on March 25, 1996, in Detroit, MI.

The meeting will focus on organizational items, including the Commission's proposed bylaws, start-up budget, first annual budget, and assessments. Copies of these documents are available for inspection and review, and the Commission will accept comments, written data, opinions and arguments from the public on these topics.

The Commission was established pursuant to the Interstate Insurance Receivership Compact enacted by Illinois, California, Nebraska and New Hampshire.

The meeting will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Richard Room, 5th Floor, Westin Hotel at the Renaissance Center in Detroit. All sessions are open to the public.
