The Real Estate Division administers over 90,000 licenses for Real Estate Brokers, Salespersons, Leasing Agents, Real Estate Corporations, Partnerships, Limited Liability Companies, Pre-License Schools, Instructors, and Courses, and Continuing Education Schools, Instructors, and Courses. The Real Estate Appraisal Administration Division administers approximately 8,000 licenses for Associate Appraisers, Certified Residential Appraisers, Certified General Appraisers, Education Providers, Continuing Education Courses and Pre-License Courses. The Auction Division administers over 1,600 licenses for Auctioneers, Associate Auctioneers, Auction Firms, Continuing Education Schools and Courses. The Timeshare/Land Sales Section regulates the Timeshare and Land Sales industries in the State of Illinois. This Section regulates approximately 800 registrants. The Home Inspector Section administers over 2,000 licenses for Home Inspectors, Home Inspector Entities, Education Providers, Pre-License Courses, and Continuing Education Courses. The Real Estate Professions web site contains information on how to become licensed in the State of Illinois along with the acts and rules administered by the Bureau. In addition, the names and telephone numbers of staff are included for your convenience.
