| | Board of Registered Interior Design Professionals |
| | The Interior Design Professional Title Act became effective July 6, 1993. Interior design |
| | refers to persons qualified by education, experience and examination who administer |
| | contracts for fabrication, procurement or installation in the implementation of designs, |
| | drawings and specifications for any interior design project. The Board is made up of five |
| | persons appointed by the Secretary, consisting of four registered interior designers and one |
| | public member. The Board is charged with reviewing education and experience |
| | qualifications and making recommendations to the Secretary on matters related to |
| | professional competence and conduct. |
