| | The Interior Design Professional Title Act became effective July 6, 1993. Interior design refers to |
| | persons qualified by education, experience and examination who administer contracts for fabrication, |
| | procurement or installation in the implementation of designs, drawings and specifications for any |
| | interior design project. The Board is made up of five persons appointed by the Secretary, consisting of |
| | four registered interior designers and one public member. The Board is charged with reviewing |
| | education and experience qualifications and making recommendations to the Secretary on matters |
| | related to professional competence and conduct. |
