| | Nursing home administrators became regulated between 1969 and 1970. A nursing home |
| | administrator is one directly responsible for planning, organizing, directing and supervising |
| | the operation of a nursing home. The Board is made up of seven members appointed by |
| | the Governor, consisting of two public members and five licensed nursing home |
| | administrators. The Board is charged with providing expert knowledge and advice on |
| | disciplinary matters and professional performance and conduct. |
