Nursing Home Administrators Licensing and Disciplinary Board

Nursing home administrators became regulated between 1969 and 1970. A nursing home

administrator is one directly responsible for planning, organizing, directing and supervising

the operation of a nursing home. The Board is made up of seven members appointed by

the Governor, consisting of two public members and five licensed nursing home

administrators. The Board is charged with providing expert knowledge and advice on

disciplinary matters and professional performance and conduct.
