Michael Burns, Chicago - Case Number: 1994-00148 -- 03 07 1995 Discipline $5,000 Fine; Education Requirement; Signed appraisals as the preparing Appraiser when another Appraiser had prepared the appraisals.

Mary O'Connor, Palos Park - Case Number: 1994-05112 -- 09 15 1995 Discipline: $2,500 Fine; Probation; Education Requirement Violation: Respondent was responsible as a review and supervisory appraiser for relying upon data, completed by a primary appraiser who at the time was unlicensed by the Commissioner, as factually correct and that the appraisal was properly completed, representations which proved false. Respondent stipulates that she did not complete sufficient due diligence to substantiate the claims of the primary appraiser.

Patrick McAtee - Case Number: 1994-03939 -- 10 20 1995 Discipline: $1,000 Fine; Reprimand; Education Requirement Violation: Failed to comply with USPAP, specifically Standard Rules 1-1 and 2-1 and the Ethics Provision.

James Jones, Broadview - Case Number: 1994-05053 -- 10 20 1995 Discipline $1,000 Fine; Education Requirement Violation: Failed to properly verify comparable sales data and to state that a co-appraiser made a significant contribution to the appraisal.

James Broderick, Peoria - Case Number: 1994-04069 -- 10 25 1995 Discipline: $1,000 Fine; Education Requirement; Violation: Incorrectly identified location, size, zoning, presence of sidewalks; failed to verify information regarding comparable sales and to include obsolescence in the cost approach, and used the wrong depreciated rate in the cost approach; signed appraisal report as a Certified Appraiser instead of as a State Licensed Appraiser.

Harlie Miller, Decatur -Case Number: 1995-1282 -- 12 06 1995 Discipline: Indefinite Suspension (Minimum 3 Years) Violation: Developed and reported an appraisal report in violation of the USPAP, specifically all or parts of Standard Rules 1 and 2, and the Ethics Provision.
